Introduction to the CA Foundation Course The CA Foundation is part of the revised scheme introduced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is an entry-level examination designed for students who wish to pursue the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course. The ICAI conducts the CA Foundation examination twice a year, in September and January. Students can register for the CA Foundation course after appearing for their 12th-grade examination. The complete CA course has a duration of approximately 4.5 years.
